“Taking Care of Business” is a radio show on Midlands 103 which airs every Tuesday night from 7pm to 8pm. The show’s host, Ronan Berry, recently spoke to our Centre Coordinator, Patricia Frayne about Portlaoise Enterprise Centre and the services it provides to businesses.
They discussed the recent ten year celebration lunch held in the Centre in December 2017. The attendees included client businesses based in the Centre, the board of directors, local politicians and representatives from Laois County Council.
Ronan asked Patricia about the different types of services the Centre offers. These vary from hot desks to small offices. Some clients are at the start-up stage and others are further down the road.
The Centre has seen a lot of interest lately from people who travel outside the county to work each day. Some people are trying to reduce their commute by working one or two days per week from Portlaoise. The roadworks on the M7 now make the trip from Portlaoise to Dublin ever more time-consuming. Taking a hot desk in Portlaoise Enterprise Centre could help you achieve a better work-life balance.
