Portlaoise Enterprise Centre welcomed 25 members of the Irish Locksmiths Organisation (ILO) who completed further training on Access Control Systems on Saturday 25th May in the Centre.
The Irish Locksmith Organisation (ILO) is a non-profit industry body. They were established to promote and ensure high industry standards within the Irish locksmithing sector. They provide a range of support services for Their members including training, seminars and an advisory forum. The ILO also campaign and consult with Irish government and statutory bodies to ensure the interests of their members and the locksmith industry as a whole.
All members of the ILO have undergone a rigorous vetting process to ensure they comply with best industry practices and that they have the experience, knowledge and materials to do so. In rare cases when a member of the public feels that their ILO locksmith fell short of these standards the ILO will investigate. If applicable they have the power to sanction the locksmith in question with membership suspension or an outright ban from the organisation.
In 2017 They launched their new website and appointed a new executive committee. One of the ILO big goals for the year ahead is to ensure full PSA compliance among all our members. If you have any questions or comments the ILO would be delighted to here from you, just get in touch .
Well done to all who organised and completed the training.
